Working Amidst the Coronavirus!

During the last year, many businesses and companies have suffered due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, The GSH Group has not been one of those companies. Throughout the last year we have:

  • Updated technology
  • Upgraded our website
  • Installed a new printing press

To keep our staff and customers connected we have updated our technology; laptops and phone system to ensure everyone is online and connected.

Finder.com found that before lockdown 1.54 million people worked from home, this figure is just 6% of the number of people who are currently working from home (as of the 1st of March 2021). To ensure all our employees were able to do their job during lockdown, we made sure all relevant members of staff could access our servers to keep up with the orders.

To accompany our staff back into the office is our upgraded company website. The new website is mobile and tablet friendly, approachable, and stylish. There are few new features:

  • Social Media Links
  • A Search Option

New GSH social media links will help us to stay in touch with you, and keep you up to date with what’s happening. Also new, is the search option. If you’re unsure of what you’re looking for, type it in and find what you need. Or you can contact us on social media or give us a call – someone will be there to help you with all your packaging needs.

Before the lockdown period, March 2020, GSH had the Edale FL3 Printing Press installed. This printing press has a maximum roll capacity of 1000mm or 430KG, runs up to 5-200m a minute, and also cures the ink using UV light, reducing the drying time. The UV curing dries quicker, getting a sharper print, brighter colours, and a tough and durable finish. This productive, cost efficient label and packaging printing press gives GSH an exciting opportunity to expand our portfolio.

These are just a few examples of how GSH had thrived during the pandemic, and we’re heading into some exciting times!

And with sustainability such a hot topic, our future vision is to continue providing our past and future customers with an unparalleled quality of product and service – responsibly sourced and recyclable.
